Q: I have an enhanced carry permit issued in MS, do I follow MS laws regarding carry, or at there differences in AR law?

For example, in MS I can carry in a church or school with the Instructor Certification. If a place has signage prohibiting carry, I can only be charged with trespass not a firearms charge. Is AR the same?

Your best bet is going to be to contact an AR attorney, as the laws vary between each state.

I doubt that there is anything that is available now after 10 years which can remedy the situation. Many time periods have elapsed.

It seems you and your family are, according to you, the victims.

I am also confused that you believe that if you receive a name of a lawyer on this...

There is no way to actually be sure, without knowing the detailed facts of your case. Sometimes, they are transferred to one state from another when there is a pending action against them in the other state. It could be that he was transferred to MS because he has a pending felony case, perhaps in... View More

You will need to talk to an attorney, so that he/she can gather some additional information. The number one question will be whether his sentence was via a plea or following a trial.

You would likely need to speak to attorney to clarify what exactly you are asking. During the conversation, the attorney will likely ask you certain questions, like whether the case went to trial or your BF pleaded to the underlying felony.

It depends on the facts of your case, and what reasons that DHS and law enforcement may have had for conducting the search and taking the child. Likely you will need to consult with an attorney so that they can find out more about your case and determine whether you have a viable claim.

Q: Can someone get a vehicle financed but get the check in someone else's name without them knowing?

I sold the vehicle about 6 months ago but received a message today he financed it. He said the finance sent it to the bank but the check is in my name. He wants me to cash it for him. What does this mean for me? I was unaware of this till I received the message asking me to cash it for him.

You would know if he financed it. If you sold it you got the proceeds because it's in your name.

He should ask you just to sign the check over to him.

First I applaud you for your effort not to give up. There are a couple of post conviction remedies such as a 2241 and a 2252 action. Both take time to get the information and can be a longshot. However, all cases deserve review. I am not sure if your husband pled guilty or had a trial. that... View More
