What can I do? What's a proper defense? Can anyone help me?

Youth Services cases are the most revealing as to how the law operates against the citizen. Every conceivable protection against abuses of the judiciary are flipped around and made to abuse the parent undergoing one of these cases.

Someone told the teachers that my son had a bb gun in his locker. Cops were called. Can my son be charged for having a bb gun on school property
answered on Nov 21, 2021
Yes, a number of things can happen, including being charged with several crimes. i suggest you and your retain counsel immediately and do not speak with the police without an attorney.

Let the criminal process take it's course. If your son was hurt and you have medical bills the Crime Victims Compensation Act may pay for them.
If I am pregnant and just under the age 16 can a marriage license be granted by a judge if me and my partner are financially stable, have transportation, and a house?
answered on Aug 3, 2021
Depends on the age of the partner. A judge may grant a marriage license but it has to be shown to be in your best interests and the parents need to consent.

Assuming that you are dating with no sexual contact that is OK by the law. By your ages, assuming she is over 14 and you are less than 18 it would not be illegal for you if you do have contact.
answered on Feb 23, 2021
Not as I read the law--if you are over 16 it's not illegal.
Even though she was the one who sent the photos to him at the time and he was on the wrong for sending them out but they are both minors so what would be the penalty for them and for some reason he hasn’t gotten a call or anything from the policeman that was supposed to call him and it’s been 5... He needs to get a lawyer immediately because what you described is child pornography which would require him to register as a sex offender.
My 13 year old son was issued a citation for harrassment after hitting his mother in the arm with an outside trashcan, as self defense, after she repeatedly smacked him in the face up to 6-7 times, how is he expected to come up with $300, and can I fight it
answered on Jul 5, 2020
First question, with cash, preferably obtained from his mother. Second question, no, but HE can fight it, and if you are a parent with custody , you have to be there to do so.

The receiver saved the pictures without consent and then sent them to other people without my consent. Is the sender more at fault or the receiver?
answered on Jul 5, 2020
No one needs your permission to save the photos you send to them, what would make you think that they do? No one needs your permission to remember what you say to them, or to repeat it to someone else. What you put out on the internet or over texting on the phone is the same thing, and IT LASTS... The internet is full of information -- try this: https://www.palawhelp.org/resource/emancipation-of-minors.
Moreover, I have a general rule about a minor seeking emancipation: if a minor can't figure out the emancipation process on his/her own, that minor probably isn't ready to... Read more »
I am on the student advisory board at my high school. We want to implement a peer mentoring program that would offer someone to talk to, conflict resolution, and help with schoolwork. To me, the first two sound like a guidance counselors job. Would it be legal for a student to do this on behalf of... Read more »

None of what you described must be done by a professional if a fee isn't being charged. For instance a good friend or relative often does many or all of these. However the school, before allowing it, will likely have some supervision, standards, and limits/boundaries. But peer-to-peer... Read more »

Get an attorney and have the attorney knock on the same doors. Attorneys are especially skilled at finsing out information. Most of us have connections with the police.
The 12 year old got it saturday at her mothers, the mothers husband had a friend come to their house to tattoo the 12 year old.
answered on Mar 27, 2019
Boy, that's not a good idea on so many levels. However, based on a quick Google search, it seems that PA has no minimum age limit for getting a tattoo as long as a parent or legal guardian is present and grants permission. If you share legal custody of the child, the mother may have violated... Read more »
He challanged me to a fight, and to avoid more problems it seems like the best solution. What could happen here. Not fighting is kind of out of the option at this point.

I'm sure you can call your local police station before then -- and I suggest you do so, at the very least to document things before they get out of hand. Best of luck to you.
My son was choked out in school and the student is being charged with the mentioned charges plus simple assault. Looking to see if he will go to juvenile “jail”

Consult the victim assistance coordinator with the DA's office. Much depends on age of the youth, relative sizes, who did what if anything before, any record the youth has, etc.
the cop said he could take my brother to juvenile court and tow my car but he is just going to send us citations in the mail. can my brother get sent to juvie? will I lose my license? I don’t care about paying fines. i’m worried about my brother
answered on Sep 19, 2018
Not feeling this is a "juvenile court" matter, but much more a driving-without-a-license matter (which is just a fine). Pay it, and move on. Your brother should be OK. The cop was just trying to scare the both of you -- and looks like it worked.
Best of luck to you.
She is 17 and took HER clothes and is trying to call the police

Have your friend contact the police herself to explain the situation. Hopefully they can help iron things out, or get her somewhere safe.
Best of luck to your friend.
