The minor ticket was baseless and false, but the second one, I was guilty of. Called many times since tickets were issued and was ignored and put on hold. If a cop can hear you he will have discretion and authority to ticket. Exterior PA systems are so unusual that you can bet they'll catch the attention of the police which will make you a target.

Call the municipal court in the township borough or city where the ticket was issued to you.
my car has been sitting outside parked for over a month since the motor has been dead. I was wondering is the charge is due to the fact that is parked on a public road? or can I argue the fact that I haven't touch or moved the vehicle since a month?

You have to register a vehicle that's under your name. That's what the statute is about. Here's how it reads: "every resident of this State and every nonresident whose automobile or motorcycle shall be driven in this State shall, before using such vehicle on the public... View More

I am not 100% certain but I believe it's 5 yrs. Needless to say I've never seen or heard a gun case tossed on Statute of Limitation grounds probably because it just doesn't happen often if ever.

If you're on probation and you plead guilty then it's 100% that mvc will want to suspend your license but if you go to court to fight the charge even if it's more than 50% that you'll lose it's not 100% that you'll lose.

Yes anything over $500 is a felony and since it's below $75,000.00 it's third degree indictable charge because in Jersey we don't call charges felonies or misdemeanors but indictable and disorderly persons offenses only.

Why would this be changed

You want to appeal your insurance company's decision. Find an insurance attorney who would take your case. Depending on how much your car costs it may not be worth the expense.

Be prepared to pay $750 bail in case you get arrested but since it's a different court they are not likely to check you for warrants. I never heard of family courts arresting people on warrants from municipal court but have the money ready just in case.
