You don't owe his child support.
Is there a court order for him to pay support. If so, he needs to go to court to modify it to reduce and/or stop it.

As of now, the great aunt owns the property.
If she had a will and the executor does not probate the will, any heir can ask to probate it.
Once the estate is opened, it will go according to the will.
If it went to mother and aunt, each will receive one-half.

Do i pay on the gross income or the adjusted gross income after expences

In business your gross income is the income after expenses.
You still have to pay taxes on it.
This is the same as gross income from wages.

That doesn't mean they will contact you.

Unless there is a court order giving him the exemption, the IRS should honor your claim because you have custody by virtue of him paying you child support.
Is there a type of sale where the buyer pays the past due taxes and pays less for the house? Or some way to get out of the hole we are in? we have absolutely nothing else.
answered on Jan 19, 2018
When you sell the house all liens have to be paid off unless the lienholder is willing to take a lesser amount.
The question only comes up if the sale price doesn't cover the liens.

Yes.
But not likely.
If everyone asked for a trial, there wouldn't be enough time to try everyone.

They showed up in the tax documents.
What does that mean.
These debts are too old to be owed and will not show up on your credit report.
You could mess up by paying on them.

If you adopted, the guardianship should have been, or may be considered to be closed.

They don't just give it to the... View More

There is no reading of wills.
The executors will go to court and be appointed.
Then, if they have not already gotten consents from all the heirs, they will send notices with the probate papers and will attached.
This is to allow people to challenge the will.

You can go to court to ask for a Parenting Plan favorable to you since mom does not want to be involved.
Also if I owe her money due to not working would she be able to forgive my debit so I can start off fresh?

If the money is not owed to the state, you and she can pretty much work out whatever you want.
As long as it is not unconscionable.
Nothing counts until a judge approves it.

Once you open an estate, the estate will then sell the house.
At the closing the mortgage and any other liens will be paid off from the sale proceeds.
This will be no different than a normal closing.
Can I file bankruptcy and keep my home?
answered on Jan 13, 2018
Whether you file or not the same rules apply as to protecting the house.
In Illinois you can protect up to $15,000.00 equity in a house you live in by claiming homestead.
This applies to creditors as well as the bankruptcy trustee.

If there was only one child and he was paying support and the child died, he needs to go to court to terminate it.
As to the car, depending on how the divorcement reads, she may be in contempt for failure to make the payments.
