They may sue you. You'll only be liable, however, if the dog has previously shown a violent propensity.

The answer is one that will depend on a plethora of facts, but it is likely yes. If you were injured at work, however, this will be a workers compensation issue, not a personal injury issue. It would be wise to contact a local personal injury lawyer.

You likely signed a waiver preventing you from doing so, but even if not the answer is likely no.

That is going to fall under the medical malpractice realm. It would be best to call a local medical malpractice attorney and discuss your case in detail with them. Most provide a free consultation and don't charge an upfront fee.

I agree with my colleagues on this. Probably not the best way to express yourself, but also not a crime.
What are the laws in Indiana for dog bites? Isn't it the state law that you have to report every bite? I was told that a dog has to be quarantined for 10 days after he bites and it has to be reported. Is that correct? Are there some dog bite laws and where might I find them? Thank you.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. If you were bitten I suggest you hire a local personal injury lawyer.

File a police report and request a temporary restraining order until you're able to get a permanent order granted by a judge.

answered on Apr 28, 2017
I could never personally put a dog down, as I'm a dog lover and if this is the first time your dog has ever bit anyone you probably won't be held liable, but you will be the next time because the dog has already shown a violent propensity. You've got a tough decision to make and one... View More

I'd try calling to police first and talking to a local attorney who handles landlord/tenant cases.
