There are remedies which are afforded depending on circumstances. But, the best interest of the child is the standard used in any determinations as it relates to the child. Consult an attorney if there are emergency situations involved. Good luck.

Your 1st step should be to hire a private investigator to locate him. He may be agreeable and if so you would not have a hard time.

If you have safety concerns for your son that are valid seeking changes to the court order 7 years ago should be definitely doable. Q: I have guardianship over my nieces in the state of texas. their parents live in Louisiana.

Their mother was the one that issued the temporary custody. The father wants them back in Louisiana but doesn't take care of them. Do I have to bring them back since we live in Texas and they reside in Louisiana. He never participated in their lives.

Sounds like there is not a court order in place. If this is true the father’s rights are superior to a non-parent’. Kidnapping charges may be applicable as such.

Who beat him? Was it another inmate or the officials? Certainly if any civil rights violations were had then the responsible parties should be held accountable.

If there is no order in place or other action pending then the mother has the right to get her child from the grandmother. Answers assume court order signed in Texas. You have to follow the order. If you have to pay to get the flight arrangements then your spouse does not have to pay what you are obligated to pay for them. But, you have to follow the order in to get possession at the time ordered in the order.
