By saying you're a fugitive, it may work against a statute of limitations issue. The real issue may lie in whether the witnesses to this alleged crime are even around...You need to find a competent attorney a.s.a.p.

You should immediately go to the Court that last had jurisdiction and petition the Court...If she failed to seek approval from you or the court, she may have to return to Florida...Get a lawyer...

Q: I got into a altercation with a 16 year old I’m 18 so therefore I got arrested and charged with battery touch or strike

It ended up with deferred prosecution am I eligible for expungement? I want to work at a day care and you can have any charges with minors so my question is can I work there after I finish up the details of my deferred prosecution or will I not pass a back ground check?

If you are correct and this was a deferred prosecution, you would be eligible for an expungement...I would suggest that you not waste this tool on a case that was deferred...

Generally speaking no...you need to find a lawyer...if this is a criminal case, your child would be entitled to counsel....

Q: Would you be able to clarify Florida statute 984.085 for me?

In the first part of the statute it states that I could harbor a runaway minor for 24 hours without notifying anyone, however afterwards it says that if I were to do so I have to notify either the parents or law enforcement so is this after I provide aid or after 24 hours?

Q: I wanted to inquire wether it’s legal to have a gun in my locked car on my college campus. College policy says no.

But there were legal cases with UNF that allowed a girl to keep a secured pistol her car

There are ten states where you may maintain a firearm on a college campus, Florida is not one of them.

Yes, unless you are aware that the gun you are attempting to purchase is stolen property...it appears that both the buyer and seller must have a valid florida license.
