Q: Need name changed on POA from maiden name to married name...father deceased

On my parents POA, my maiden name is listed, Elizabeth Kobrock however, my name is now and has been, Elizabeth K Lowe...my father recently passed away and I am attempting to get a duplicate car title and can't because the names don't match on POA and my drivers liscence???

Power of a POA ends upon death. So you can get it changed as to your Mother, if she is still alive. But as to your father you have to open a succession.

If you make less at nee job, it won't go down. If you make more it will go up. You need a child support lawyer.

He will get extradicted...eventually. It is up to probation dept and the judge as to whether he has to back up full sentence. When he gets to Louisiana, hire a criminal attorney. In the mean time, put together documentation about why he had to leave the state.

Q: Can a victim drop domestic violence charges and suggest leniency for spouse to get lesser charge?

The charge is domestic violence battery with a deadly weapon. The wife strikes the husband first but the wife called the police to report the altercation. Now she wants to drop the charges and suggest anger management classes for the spouse.

She can't drop it. But she can testify as to her preference.

No statute of limitation. But it is prospective, not retroactive to date of filing for divorce.

Yes. Ongoing ends but the arrears still are owed to the custodial parent.

Q: Our granddaughter 17 is living with us. Her father is deceased and our daughter gave up rights. What do we do to adopt.

No social security does not atop but you need to notify social security in writing and hire an adoption lawyer.
