Yes, they have a right to provide security for their tenants. However, they do not have a right to lock out their lawful tenants. Ask Landlord for your key or call the police. Best of luck.

if you feel that your lawyer is not being responsive to you, then there is a breakdown in communications. Give him one more chance and equest for a date to meet with you. If he does not respond within a week's time, call the California bar or hire another lawyer. Your choice. Best of luck.

Most unfortunately. there is no recovery for pain and suffering, unless your injury was caused by a third party while at work. That would give rise to a third... View More

You are doing the right thing. Ask in writing for a rent reduction. If no answer then write another letter that you will move to a hotel during the work repairs. request a qualified firm to do the work and keep your receipt. Then request a refund for your hotel bill.

Best of luck.

It depends. If the dog is a vicious dog and has a history of biting, animal control may decide to put it down. Depending on the facts of the incident, it may be returned to its owners. F the bite penetrated your skin, you should contact a dog bite lawyer in your area. Best of luck

Send a written letter letting landlord know of your habitability problem. If no response is forthcoming, call the city inspector and complaint to him of your house problem. If nothing happens, then call a lawyer to help you. Best of luck.
