An Arizona attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a week. This might be difficult to get a definitive response for in a public Q & A forum. If you reached out to attorneys in your state, they would likely ask to review the policy thoroughly before advising on whether the... View More

An Arizona attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. Until you are able to consult with a local attorney on V&TLs, the statute should be continuously enforced if it became law. Good luck

An Arizona attorney should advise, as this could be covered under state-specific civil procedure rules. However, your question remains open for two weeks. The short answer is "yes" in most jurisdictions nationwide. Sometimes interest is capped by statute, but claimants can sue for it.... View More

Not 100% sure of AZ law, but in CA, on sale, the seller sends a notice of transfer to the DMV in order to give notice of the sale of the vehicle. I recommend you contact several attorneys in your area that practice this type of law, as soon as possible. Thank you for using Justia ask a lawyer.

If your insurance was canceled due to nonpayment of the premium, you’re going to have to pay for the repairs or buy a new car out of pocket. I wouldn’t expect insurance to cover it.

you can turn in the rental--and may want to. If you have your own coverage, ask about it from your insurer. However, the big issue is property damage and if you paid for that you want to know you are covered.

Q: What am I able to do in this situation?

Two years ago my mom crashed into my neighbor. They told us that we can just pay the insurance down payment ($500) and that would be the end of it. Insurance generally runs with the property, so the relevant policy would be the one for the neighbor, not the one carried by your grandfather. The terms of the policy would govern coverage. The neighbors could put in a claim through their carrier. If it is accepted and covered, there could be a... View More

Not at all. First it would be inadmissible second it isn't what the case is about. You have a good argument to make if you couched it in terms of believing it was safe to do what you did. Depends on what --hypothetically--someone has been charged with.If you were hurt you may have a... View More

Q: Can an insur. co. close the ticket if their client tells them they will pay out of pock? Even if I didn't agree to term

They admitted fault, tried to make payment but what they offered wasn't enough to fix it. Can their insurance refuse to pay on the basis that their client wants to pay out of pocket. I didn't think that was legal.
