An experienced criminal defense attorney should be able to help resolve the matter while keeping her rights intact. There may be defenses and mitigation unknown to the solicitor and law enforcement that would be very helpful for her case.

There is no enough detail in your question to provide a specific response. Each agreement in Family Court is unique and without reviewing the specific language of yours, it is not possible to determine anyone's rights. Your best course of action is to consult with a lawyer who is experienced... View More

The age of consent in the State of SC is 16 years old so the 20 year old can not be charged with statutory rape. That being said, a 20 year old could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor in certain situations.

Q: If I'm 17 and drive ny parents car and break somethings on accident, do I legally have to pay them? Can they make me?

I'm 17 and I have been told I broke a few things in my car. One I will pay for, but the rest they claim I broke when I didn't. Can they legally make me pay for it, even though I'm underage and there was no contract?

Technically they'd have to show it was you, but you need to decide how much you want to push the issue. You'd come off more mature saying that you didn't break the other items but you'll be glad to help out by paying them.

Depends on what the tampering involved. Could be a wide variety of charges. By the way, any facts discussed on this site can be seen by anyone. So don't tamper; if you have, try to warn the person so they don't use the vehicle; get with an attorney. Not on a website.
