The fine is 42 bucks, but my kid isn't a fault, and we have believe we have enough evidence to prove it. But not sure what the cost of hiring a lawyer will be. How much is the ,(ball park is fine), fee to represent my son in Juvenile Court. We were told that if he didn't have a lawyer,... View More

You need to contact local attorneys to request fee quotes. Everyone is different. But your son is entitled to a trial. But the cost of hiring an attorney is almost assuredly more than $42.
The officer who took the report marked on my citation In Car Video Does that mean he had video, the other driver had video? I know I didnt

It may mean that the police officer recorded the stop. Without seeing the citation, hard to tell. Consult counsel.
I was pulled over in Rutherford County. The Rutherford County driving qualifications says that the speed must be no more than 20 over the speed limit, but I was going 25 over and got ticketed. I am a minor.

This is your second question on the issue. A lot of lawyers offer free consultations. Judges have discretion to lower speed - but you should really consult with an attorney. Ask you parents to help...no shame in that.

You need to make sure that you get a court date and you need to confirm that date by calling the clerk's office. You can retain an attorney to defend the ticket. Otherwise you can choose to have a trial, or plead guilty and pay whatever fines the court. But if you do that, or are found guilty... View More
There was a driver acting like they were going to rear-end me after I passed them. Once the 2 lanes went to 4 lanes, I got over in the left lane then slowed down and got behind the vehicle to take pictures of the tag. I was pulled over for an illegal lane change and phone usage, but in the report... View More

You could appear at a trial and plead your case if you have some defense. Or choose to pay the fines associated. Those are your options. But you may face points on your license if you pay the fine and/or show up to court and plead guilty or are found guilty.
I turned into a road thay was apparently closed. When i turned i saw the police car im the street but it was off so i made the left turn and passed it real slow. He let me pass him before he pulled me over. I believe i was driving carefully.

You certainly have a right to defend your citation. Consult with counsel.
What is usually the consequences for this
answered on Sep 28, 2016
If it's a parking lot not sure they can ticket you. Worth it to save on points to at least get a consultation from an attorney who handles traffic citations in the county where your citation is from.
For now, plead not guilty.

Every case is different. I would suggest that you contact a good local attorney as soon as possible. Good luck.
My son accidentally forgot to turn in papers before ticket (speeding ticket) was due by 3 days. He was going to take them by next time he was in Johnson City. We live 30 min. away. He was leaving them sitting on his passenger seat so he'd remember to run the paper by. When he cleaned his car... View More

He could have taken care of this, but he chose not to. Allowing someone to do driving school to keep a ticket off their record is not a right, it is an agreement between your son and the State. He didn't follow through with his part of the agreement, so they no longer have to honor theirs. He... View More

No. If anything report documents you then took care of it. If you look at the report it will usually have a box "citation issued y/n" or "citation no. " If there is no citation number entered, or if it's a "violation indicated" and you didn't get a... View More
I dropped my coworker off at her house and proceeded home as usual and this morning I get woken up by my mom saying some angry man was beating on my coworkers door claiming I hit them but I don't think I even got close to anyone yesterday and there's no damage on my truck

Suggest that maybe someone else hit them.Maybe have someone look at your vehicle to show that there is no damage--if you need a witness for later.

Yes, the ticket is still valid. Minor errors such as the wrong make and model of your back usually will not effect the validity of the ticket.

Same can be said about every tax you can think of. Two constants are death and taxes. Your best bet to avoid paying this is to change the law.
It was a coworker actually driving can they suspend my ms drivers license for non payment
answered on Mar 9, 2016
They can unless you prove it was not you driving. If you fail to show up and fail to defend, there will be a fine issued and court costs. I don't know if they can suspend your out-of-state license for an offense in Tennessee. What you definitely want to avoid is getting a warrant for failure... View More
Previous citation was for speeding that was dismissed in court. Does TN offer court supervision? Is it possible to get supervision for this type of ticket?

This is not my first ticket and I was wondering what the out come could be in court? Also I am 21 and there is no way out on the ticket the officer actually gave me a break not doing more than he did
answered on Oct 18, 2015
Always go to court for traffic tickets. Since you're 21 and have priors, you want to get an attorney to hopefully get this reduced or kept off your record.

If you broke the law you can get a ticket. She should get charged with dwlrsc.

If the ticket got dismissed, then what would cause your license to be suspended? That alone shouldn't cause you to lose your license, especially since it got dismissed
