Q: I am on probation and I'm trying to get off to join the military. I have early term and withhold of adjudication.

I've served 2 of 6 years and I'm 20 years old and I've met all of the conditions except the restitution. Is it possible to get off to join the military?

Child support can always be requested, even if the parents are still married. You probably need to seek a modification of the DR divorce decree. For that you will need to consult an attorney in the Dominican Republic.

What he needs, in my opinion, is a letter from a doctor, preferably a specialist in the field of autism, to the effect that the previous diagnosis was erroneous, and hopefully explaining why.

For what? To relocate with the children? Written consent from the father or a court order.
