I was recently given an ordinance notice for my car which is still under repair. It is not currently tagged or insured because it's not drivable. Now they're saying I have 10 days to fix it or they'll take it. Can they do that? Just take the car I paid for because it isn't fixed... View More

You have a nice constitutional issue but the bottom line is they say you aren't complying. So you need to get your car in a garage or most statutes allow for a properly secured tarp to count. Make it a hassle for them and you'll only possibly win the battle but you'll be losing a war... View More

100 per cent medical insurance unless the Lawyer has a strong reason otherwise. Let's say you don't get compensated so much. If your health insurance paid, you may have a repayment but that can be negotiated. A lien is 100 per cent.

What was the felony and why did you plead guilty before talking to a lawyer? Both offenses you listed are misdemeanors (12 month max) and it is possible the court made them run consecutive to each other.

You can only reopen an injury case if you immediately appeal the dismissal and can show clear error on the Court's part. "New evidence" doesn't allow the civil case to be reopened. But why not consult a member of the Ga Trial Lawyers Assn--they give free consults.
Are they responsible? There have been many crimes on that propery. At what point are they responsiblr to provide a secure shopping center? The owners own half of the county.

They aren't responsible for third party actions unless they are doing a valet park. Generally, I don't see a responsibility to have security cameras. If you have collision then run it through your own insurance and let them see if they want to make a claim against the mall.
The car is in my ex- boyfriend's name and I am the co-signor but I make all the payments and I am the only one driving the car.

Not sure what you mean by "the initial," but you need to see if he will sign it over to you or he agrees that he is primarily responsible and you turn the car over to him. You have a purchase money interest, except that you were boyfriend/girlfriend and that's sometimes considered a... View More
Far enough to stop or beep. They did neither one, impact shows high speeds, still considering my fault being that I was pulling out? I did yeild to drivers before vehicle.vehicle behind car moved because vehicle was stopping, I was leaving taco Bell, also can I get footage from taco Bell?
answered on Aug 21, 2018
Try to get footage. Generally though the person who is pulling out of a driveway must yield the right of way to any oncoming traffic, even if that oncoming traffic is a bit of a yo-yo. However I'd suggest you contact a member of the Ga. Trial Lawyers Assn in your county--they give free consults.

If you have collision you can run it through your company and let them go after him. Or you can file the claim but it would help to have the information.
Note: this happens a lot, even when people have told the police one thing, they change it. Gee, I think we've had a trial in DC with... View More

You will need to consult with an attorney on how to go after someone who did not provide insurance st the time of the wreck. Seek out an attorney who is experienced with litigating complex car wrecks.

It is not illegal however as you enter the roadway it's all on you--you must yield to anyone. You may not back along a highway. Indicates you received a ticket--likely improper backing if you then had a collision with a pedestrian, bicycle or car

Your fiance will want to contact an attorney who is experienced with traffic law. Not only does she have to worry about the criminal aspect of the citation, but she should be aware of what affect a "guilty" plea will have on her insurance as well.
Husband has Parkinsons. He wants an RV, but I refused to cut a check from the LLP. He has managed to borrow on two credit cards that are in his name. This is outside of the LLP and without my endorsement. Is the LLP libel for any wrecks or nonpayments that he may incur?

You need to consult the lawyer that drew up the llp (hopefully not drawn up by an online site), consult an elderlaw attorney. I'd also suggest a family therapist because just erecting walls won't help your relationship.

technically perhaps, realistically no--they would've pulled you over if you had. If you did damage that would be different. Sin no more!
