There may be implications from both a criminal and child protection standpoint. I'd certainly recommend that your mother contact an attorney who is familiar with both criminal and family law matters.

Q: Wouldn't taking a pizza be a petty theft if there was no force or no intimidation ?

My boyfriend is in jail for simple robbery in Louisiana this is his first felony but he used no force he told the pizza guy that he payed online and the pizza man gave him the pizza now they are charging him with simply robbery ...is this right ?

The pizza man is saying your BF intimidated him about having PAID for the pizza. It's over billing. So hire a criminal attorney for him.

Q: My husband was threatened to say what the detective wanted them to say.

They told him that if he did not say it that they were taking me (wife) to jail and taking our son to state custody.

Q: can someone who has been harassing & threatening me file a police report on someone as collateral damage?

I've been getting threatening text messages because my aunt is involved with someone who's in another relationship supposedly but she doesn't know. Now, the person is threatening to file a false police report on my boyfriend to get back at my aunt. can she do that?
