Best way is to go down to the township municipal court where you got the ticket from, ask them for a copy and update them with your new address. If its a serious ticket with points hire a good lawyer.

Minor son in car accident. Another Minor was driver of car. His insurance company offered 25k pain and suffering. Talk to Lawyer and he thinks we can get more. If I hire him and we still only get 25k, does he take a full share of the settlement even though I could have gotten that on my own?... View More

Yes, he would be entitled to his fee, but since your child is a minor, Fee in NJ would only be 25%
I had an accident where I didn't have insurance unknown to me. Now the guy with whom I had an accident is asking for money to fix his car and if I don't he will take me to court which will result in my license getting suspended if I do and will cost more. Will I lose my license if it goes to courts?

More information is needed to properly answer your question, but the general answer is yes loss of your license is possible when you do not have insurance.
Rear ended at a stop light in 11/23. Kelly blue book average trade value is $18,666. Highest offer I can get is $15000 because I was rear ended by this insurance company’s client. I filed it on my taxes as income. Now that they car has been totaled in an accident, they refuse to release the title because of this $1000 in late charges. You are going to need to retain an experienced civil litigation attorney. You can expect to pay an attorney for 1/2 to one hour of attorney time to review the documents and explain your options.
just wondering if my lawyer is doing right by me after reading reviews online im scared i wont receive my settlement as the lawyer has already recieved it 3 months ago and wont release my funds thank you

No one here can make any judgements as to what is causing the delay. Only your attorney could advise on that. As a GENERAL matter, when it comes to releasing funds, a common cause of delays could involve negotiation and settlement of liens with medical providers or other entities. But that's... View More

You better tell your friend to hire a good lawyer. Your friend is facing up to 30 days in jail and 6 months loss of his license and some fines. If convicted which it sounds like it would be easy for the state to do, due to the video evidence, these penalties are a real possibility without good... View More
Wondering if I legally need to pay this medical bill since I already signed off on the total amount, including all medical expenses from my lawyer

answered on Jul 18, 2023
If a valid bill was not paid from the settlement, you are still responsible to pay it. But your attorney may be responsible for some or all of it if the attorney should have negotiated or otherwise handled the lien. Ask the attorney to negotiate the lien.

if you receive a warning in new jersey for failing to stop for a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk will that increase your auto insurance rates. Not a ticket but a warning. I have a camera in my car and the video shows nothing except a cop waving to turn left. Can I contest this ?

answered on Nov 17, 2022
A ticket filed in the municipal court is required before direct and collateral consequences become an issue. If a police officer gives only a warning, then the court, motor vehicle commission, and insurance company should not find out about the encounter.
