In Puerto Rico, the law entitles the spouse to receive as much as the children, the same amount, of an inheritance. Does the money in a bank or invested in the USA count for the inheritance or only the money in Banks in Puerto Rico? I don’t want to do anything illegal. Thank you for your response.
