My sister in law left a snake at my house for me to hold she hasn't come to see it in two weeks haven't not good food it or helped get rid of the mites it has. Do I have to give it back or is it mine now since I've been feeding it and get rid of the mites it has

Unless she abandoned the pet or otherwise transferred ownership to you it is still her snake; you will have to return it. However, you should be compensated for reasonable expenses spent for its care.

The car is completely stripped of everything, leaving just the shell. Also charging people money for a certain amount of swings.

I suppose you would need a place to park the car, a clean up crew, and a pretty solid waiver for the contestants to sign. Depending on how this is being run a business license may also be a concern.
I live in a shared house (the house has 3 bedrooms which are up for rent), I rent the master bedroom. The landlord insists on coming in and staying in the currently unrented room. She has even written a claus into the lease agreement she would like us to sign. My question is: Is this legal?
answered on May 30, 2015
We would have to read the lease. I personally wouldn't sign any addendum, but that decision is up to you.

If the video is real they are praying on the fact that you can't afford representation. Truth is an absolute defense. My advice, send a financial affidavit showing that any judgment against you would be worthless. Most people don't want to spend time and money on a lawsuit which has no... View More

Maybe. It depends... you should call a lawyer and go over all of the facts. That said- my guess is that the terms of the arbitration you were involved in would bar you from reopening the case.

No one can make you pay it. However, there can be serious consequence if you ignore it rather than paying or fight it.

May I request to see a letter from a doctor prescribing a service animal? May I ask what specific tasks this service animal has been trained to do?
answered on May 27, 2015
No, you cannot ask for any letter from a doctor or any other documentation. You generally may ask if the animal is required because of a disability and what work or task the animal has been trained to perform. You discouraged from making inquiries about a service animal when it is apparent what... View More

The fee went to 40% because the risk to the lawyer, who paid all costs associated with the lawsuit, went up. This should be clearly spelled out in your contingency fee agreement and representation contract. Also, your lawyer should have no issues in detailing why the fee was raised and how the... View More

In situations such as this, where an employee works at multiple restaurants owned by one person, courts combine the total hours worked at both restaurants to determine whether or not overtime is appropriate. Therefore, if your total hours worked... View More
