Q: After 30 years, termite bond Co says I have to pay them $550 to retreat or It becomes a retreat bond. Legal in AL?

I’ve paid yearly on time. They used to spray every year and at some point began inspecting only. Had a “clean bill of health” through last year. Never any termite damage found on inspection nor reported.

Q: Apartment with black mold. Management agreed to remediate but dragging their feet. I'm a senior w/ asthma. Can you help?

This has been going on almost 6 months now. Have been consulting with Legal Services Alabama. But it seems we've reached an impasse. Q: Is it illegal to mow grass clippings into the road in alabama

As a general matter throughout the nation, some jurisdictions have local regulations/codes that treat such clippings as hazards to the public or to traffic. This is aside from any state and local environmental or sanitation regulations that might apply.
