We’ve been separated for a little over a month. And I gave her time to calm down, since our breakup was due to me being unfaithful, just around 2 weeks. We have texted and agreed to a schedule where he would spend time with me. This is the second week that she makes an excuse and does not let me... View More

a lawyer can not give you advice without knowing a lot more facts.
if you are looking to "sock it to her" then involve the police.
if you had a lawyer ask you divorce lawyer who can contact her lawyer. If non you can go back to court or tell you really do not want to go... View More
Nobody is under age and yes the RO was in place before consensual sex. The RO is in place because of a DV incident but it is court ordered, not by choice.

You should first file a police report for assault and battery. Then get a restraining order against her.
We already have a scheduled hearing for the first denied ex parte for his modification of child custody, so now he decided to file another one. We also correspond through a website and he's been harassing me there as well, making threats.

My daughter has left her abusive boyfriend after 6 years of documented abuse. They purchased a dog a year ago and he also has abused and neglected the dog. Your question indicates you are in MA, while you have posted in a CA forum. You should direct your questions you a MA attorney. You might be able to appeal, or go in for modification, if circumstances have changed, like you have evidence that the dog is actually endangered, rather than just... View More

did the police take a report.......?
you need to call the officer that responded and press him to do something?
he can not get away from charges by leaving the premises
My question is, since they (the children) do not have a relationship with their fathers maternal grandparents, would it be violating the restraining order to contact them?
answered on Feb 7, 2018
a lawyer would have to see the wording on the RO........however if it is just dealing with your ex it should not apply to grandparents
answered on Feb 5, 2018
the RO is for him to stay away from her......however if she is the party taking the initiative to set up meeting i do not think there would be much of an issue.............
i would assume jail or prison does not know about RO anyway
It was a old case from 2014 he had a bench warrant and the judge ADJUDICATED the case. What does that mean
answered on Feb 4, 2018
if one is sentenced to 30 days in riverside county, you probably get double credit for the time in custody when arrested and the balance you would do 1/2 time under 4019 if the crime qualified.
however if he did not appear or comply with every condition of probation a bench warrant would... View More

yes, the DV charge could help you but a lawyer has to learn all the facts.
you should talk to a local lawyer that practices in that court.
My ex husband got beat up & I got accused of doing it & kidnapping my kids when he let me take them .

a lawyer needs a lot more info
retain a local lawyer in your city to revisit the issues with the DA.........
if that doesn't work contact your congressman to get their assistance
Will that forbide her from getting citizenship?
answered on Jan 31, 2018
she has not convictions so it should not be a factor.......but share that with the lawyer that is going to help you with your immigration.

if it is criminal you would be appointed a public defender
for civil you would either contact some kind of legal aid in the city/county or maybe get lucky with a lawyer willing to do Pro Bono work.
good luck
She read she can take anger management class throught vicTim witness program to help my case. Is this true?
answered on Jan 30, 2018
IF YOU ARE SAYING YOU ARE CHARGED AND WIFE IS VICTIM THEN THE PUBLIC DEFENDER WILL DEFEND YOU.
THE DA DOES NOT CARE THAT MUCH ABOUT WHAT YOUR WIFE WANTS TO DO AS THE CRIME IS AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND SHE WOULD BE THE COMPLAINING WIT.
SHE CAN HIRE A LAWYER TO... View More

if you were married he can not put you on street like that....but that is not domestic terrorism or violence in my opinion.
you should be able to have police accompany you to return to home.
divorce papers would have to be filed to get you out legally.
try to contact legal aid
I called the cops on my girlfriend for domestic violence. They took her to the county jail and shes been in there for 3 days. I do not want to press charges. Let's say she is released after her arraignment and is able to come home. Does one of us have to move out now? Even if I don't... View More
