brakes were functional before service. The mechanic told me explicitly I did not need brake work. The brakes failed, I noticed a brake fluid leak, second party mechanic confirmed and documented that the brakes had been reassembled incorrectly causing the leak.

This sounds more like a civil case where you could file an action against the mechanic, his garage or their insurance company if you can prove it was his fault. I don’t think there would be criminal charges unless you can prove this person directly tried to hurt you rather than just doing bad... View More

Rocket docket it is based on an agreement with the prosecutor about pleading to felonies early while the cases are still in district courtI. It is not something that you can just add a case back on.

Yes. Burglary second degree is eligible for probation in Kentucky. I would hire a skilled defense attorney to present your best argument to the court and the prosecutor and if you have a clean record you have a much better chance of getting probation or perhaps even diversion if the charges are... My next court hearing is a status hearing on August 12, followed by trial on August 23. What happened to the whole idea of a fair and speedy trial? Shouldn't there just be 70 days at the maximum from my last court appearance, which I believe was an arraignment, and trial?
answered on Apr 18, 2021
No, in Kentucky there can be at least 180 days before speedy trial is implicated and that is if you make the motion at arraignment. Plus, in the pandemic era, speedy trials are pretty much a thing of the past.

Put your dogs up and eliminate the attraction for the neighbors. The other option is to move.

My best advice is google lawyers in your area. Even if you do not find one you like in the specific city there should be some willing to travel. You may have to pay an attorney from a bigger city a little more but there are thousands of lawyers in Kentucky.

Hire a good lawyer to tell your story to the prosecutor and Judge. You could also attempt to file charges for swearing out a false warrant with the County Attorney's office.
I have her on a text telling me that the only way I can use a car that is in both of our names is if I give her money! Is that not extortion?
answered on Apr 9, 2021
No. Don’t pay her anything. Go take the car and use it all you want. You don’t pay to use your own stuff. Snd file that divorce immediately.

Depends. It tells you the release on the serve out papers but it can be impacted by subsequent behavior.

Don’t give her a dime back snd if she sues you, you can counterclaim and win. She has committed a continuing breach snd her liability continues to increase.

I think you should talk to law-enforcement or the prosecutors office in your jurisdiction. If she threatened you for attempting to contact CPS or filing charges that in and of itself could be a felony for intimidating a witness in the legal process. You could also discuss the child endangerment... View More

Many more facts are necessary to properly answer your question but on its face, doesn’t sound like probable cause.
