I believe it's 63-3-603 and that says only in the turn lane when ready to make the turn. That doesn't mean immediately but it doesn't mean a block before.

Without delay, provide the summons and complaint to the insurance carrier that carried your policy at the time of the accident. You should be able to do this via email. You might have to call first to set up a claim number and learn who the claim rep assigned to your file will be. If the carrier... View More

Some insurance policies cover you if you get a car and put it on the policy. If you had no policy at the time, file a claim with the other person's insurance for the damage to your car.
The dead was tested but not driver it was determined by a field sobriety test they were good to go? But another person did same and both were tested

No great reason unless the person had no sign of alcohol and claimed no use--they need probable cause, and if the person wasn't dead on the scene the fact there is a hit isn't enough.

One of the issues you could be confronted with here is the general responsibility to maintain a safe speed for given conditions and to maintain a lookout while driving, regardless of jurisdiction. I hope you were not injured, but based on possible injuries or damages, you could arrange a... View More

Assuming you have insurance, the insurance company should be able to fund the defense on this case (assuming that it's civil); otherwise, you will have to hire a private attorney to represent you. That being said, these types of cases are incredibly fact-intensive.

I got in a wreck in my neighborhood with a car that was parked on the right side of the road facing forward with them in the car being completely stopped. Would it be my fault or theirs.

It could depend on what the parking regulations were, what the weather/visibility conditions were, the operation of your vehicle, and other factors. You could consult with an attorney in Mississippi who could examine the matter in further detail.

In other lane. She told the cop she had her blinker on to come in other lane, but she didn’t. So they said I failed to yield to her. So what do I need to do. Her blinker was never on.
answered on Oct 8, 2018
Assuming you aren't injured, take the position it's on her. If cited plead not guilty. Even if she had a blinker on or off, the real problem here is that you apparently were pulling onto the highway from an exit (not clear from the above), and if you were any traffic on the highway tends... It really depends on what the adjuster has communicated to you and whether you have accepted anything to officially settle the case.

Ask the police. Dog was in the road so it's largely on you. Duty to stop is to people, or damage to property over whatever Ms. sets as the bar. A dog is valued at the market value, not the intrinsic value to you. Note however if the dog did damage to the car the driver may counterclaim for... View More

First, get a note from the insurance company that no money is owed.
Then contact the attorney complaints office of your county bar association.

If the damage is due to their negligence then you would recover the amount of the damages at trial. Going through the trouble to get to trial is the issue. Call an attorney who practices in this area, if the damages are substantial or the driver has insurance there may be options an attorney would... View More
