Tried to get warrant gone but there not taking me because of pandemic. Driver license

You need to be more specific with your question. What kind of license are you trying to get?
I recently tried to become a driver for a meal delivery service and the background check came back that my license was suspended. I did not know this.
The last time I was pulled over was in, I think, March of 2019. I pulled into a convenience store and a cop pulled in behind me. He called... View More

Your license can be suspended for a number of reasons. If you owe back child support it can be suspended. If you had a wreck and didn’t have insurance and owe a money judgement, they can be suspended. Also if you’ve had a failure to appear for a previous traffic ticket your license will be... View More
The defendant has never had a case in this small municipal court. Has no open cases anywhere else. Has FTA from 10 years ago in another jurisdiction.

Yes you can pay it online or at the clerks office by either mail or in person. If you mail it in, be sure to put the ticket number and your name on the money order.
I received ss disability and I don't get around well, high risk for Corona as well.

If it’s been two years you have a FTA warrant and you can’t get that off unless you talk to the judge. Write the judge a letter and tell him you want to pay it, to set aside the FTA. Most of them will do it.

You need to call the General Sessions Court for whatever County you got cited in. Then inquire about your Citation. There is no DOT in Tennessee, so it was some other agency. Read your Ticket verbatim, then talk to the Clerk about what to do about it. If possible, go to Court to see if there... View More
Lawrence Co. Alabama; As I approached the stop sign where co. Rd. 208 intersects the corner of co. Rd. 203 a state patrol rounded the corner aprox. 3-400m behind. The wheels of my car stopped and the momentum shifted backwards. I let off the brake and crossed the line to peer right, around the... View More

A lawyer would need more information before answering the question specific to your case, however, if multiple charges arise from a traffic stop, you can be convicted of those additional charges even if the ticket that was the reason for the stop is dismissed. In these situations, it's best to... View More

Yes. Sometimes, if you've gotten your tags updated quickly after the ticket, one or more jurisdictions may dismiss the ticket on payment of court cost - but they are under no obligation to do so.

If he has warrants for failure to pay traffic tickets, it is not the clerks who can waive the requirement that he turn himself in. In order to handle the warrants for you, the best outcome is usually obtained by hiring a lawyer in the county where the warrants are from to help you navigate this... View More

Venue is the legal term for where a legal case can be tried. If the crime and arrest were outside the city limits jurisdiction of the Millbrook officer, then your criminal lawyer can file an appropriate motion to dismiss the charge for improper venue.

It is possible that the person can be charged with leaving the scene so I would advise them to get their car out of there instantly, for starters.
At bottom of ticket, it states "no signature required pursuant to 32-1-4(a)", but that code appears to be stating that the violator would be deemed to have given a written Bond to appear, not waiving officers' need to sign the complaint. Violated Montg. Municipal Ord. 1-9 adopted 32-6-65

This was posted under Admiralty/Maritime, but I was unable to find anything under maritime laws pertaining to the listed statute(s). It looks like it involves violation of a Montgomery Municipal Ordinance. Consult with an Alabama attorney, as it probably requires a prompt response/appearance where... View More

If you are a AAA member they may have resources. Ask your local police. If you were hurt, consult a member of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Assn in your county.

the ticket is written to the individual, not to the vehicle. so no, it cannot be dismissed if the information associated with the car is incorrect. that would incentivize people to put incorrect info down and never have to pay a ticket if that were the case.
... and I say no to the search and they bring the dogs out and the dog finds it is that evidence in court ?

The answer depends on the reason the officers state was the reason they pulled you over. IF, and that's a big IF, the officers had no legitimate reason for the stop AND IF they admit that, the marijuana they seized should not be admitted into evidence against you. If, on the other hand, the... View More

If they are used to mark a stopped vehicle, should be OK but the strobes may be distracting. Orange triangles lit or reflective may be more acceptable.

Please try this question again and give a few facts. Was your license suspended? Did you go to court? Can you show that your license was not suspended? Did you have valid insurance when you were stopped? Please ask again and tell EXACTLY what happened. Just the facts.
