it sounds like you or someone else called the police to report you for DV on your boyfriend and a "keep away" order was issued.
did you get notice of a TRO (restraining order)?

i would not think old DV would be filed upon ......if so you would argue Serna arguments that there was a lack of due process in that you didn't receive a speedy trial and can not remember things 2-3 yrs ago.
My grand daughter and her mother were victims of assault with injury. He is currently serving state prison time. He is coming up for parole soon.

If arrested but not filed within a year that is long enough that a misdemeanor will not be filed..........a felony would be longer and DV could be either.
