they can't keep you in custody and not have pending charges filed.

there must be other cases/charges with which the defendant is dealing.

I have been arrested four times now without a warrant signed by a judge taken to jail held up to a year without ever being taken before a judge in court.

Q: Is it legal for any other agency to sentence me for a crime after I been sentenced without ever going before a judge

I have been on probation for a number of years now and recently I keep being told I must do things that were never on my sentence and probation order. And have been told my sentence was changed. Without any court action or my knowledge.
