Q: Options for kitchen cabinet delivery without notification, just dropped and left outside for 2 days in rain-damaged

Hello,

I ordered kitchen cabinets online from a dealer in another state. The first delivery (of 2) was supposed to be delivered with prior notice to my contractor. The freight company just dropped the pallets in front of the garage where they stayed for 2 days in constant rain. Nobody was... View More

It's clearly a negligence case. Meaning it is common sense that someone should be notified right away considering the possible rain. You should hire an attorney to write a demand letter.

Q: What are my legal options for fair business practices when replacing multiple failed transmissions?

I had an issue with a torque converter and was told by 2 different mechanics that I might as well get a whole rebuilt transmission. You need to find a couple of experienced mechanics to give you expert opinions as to there has been any foul play. Let them put their opinions in writing. After that, you can bring it to a commercial litigation attorney for a consultation as to whether it pays to sue them.

A Florida attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for four weeks. It's difficult to say, based on this brief description. If there were underlying conditions in your building that caused the rot, it could be difficult to attribute rot to new siding materials. But that could... View More

You should hire an attorney licensed in the state where the probate case is. Theoretically you could find an attorney near you who is also licensed in the state where the probate is. For example, I live and work in Tennessee and am also licensed in Arizona and California and three other states.

Q: Is it possible to sue a large hotel chain for housekeeping negligence and not sanitizing for covid?

I have videos and pictures of blood, urine and other horrific things found in my room upon checkin, but didnt know if this is enough to pursue a lawsuit. I also have receipts of having to purchase my own bedding and linen because they had none.

You can't sue for negligence if you cannot prove damages. The only damage I see is the price of the room. You should have protested when you got to the room.

The plastic bag where the diapers are is closed doesn’t look that the bag was ever opened from someone and that somebody could put a knife inside. A really strange thing to find a knife in a diaper bag.
