Q: I got into a car accident with my permit and it was my fault. What happens to my permit?

I was charged with unsafe lane change with a fee of $98 and there was no injury.

Report it to your insurance.This is what you pay insurance for. I wouldn't worry, but obviously someone is making a claim.Let your insurance handle it.

The teens/aunts insurance should be paying your brother. Your brother should contact a member of the Ga.Trial Lawyers assn.

If they don't want to pay and have no insurance, then their licenses can be suspended.

You had an attorney I assume. Not clear if you were plaintiff or defendant. Most states have an appeal as of right. You have a certain number of days to appeal and may have to file a request for new trial first.

Who owned the vehicle? The owner can get their license suspended. The youth may be looking at a suspension unless he can show he had no way of knowing--in which case it may be worth him having an attorney or at least getting a consult from one.

Q: My employee had his car window busted by a lawn company working for the city. They are denying any liability towards it.

No punitives. Cost of repair. Send it to the guy if he was a contractor and whoever employed him. If a city or borough employee send it to them and comply with the "municipal claims" act. Then if they deny, go to small claims.

Q: When there is a car parked on the street on a 2 lane road who has the right of way?

Leaving for work this morning there was a car parked in the oncoming lane. Another vehicle traveling toward me would have hit me if I didn't stop. I would think I had the right of way since my lane was clear.
