Both of you should speak with a member of the Ga. Trial Lawyers Assn--they give free consults. Assuming your girlfriend will say she's driving you can fight the ticket. Plead not guilty.

Likely nothing. Consult a member of the Ga. Trial Lawyers Assn for a definitive answer.

Depends on how the Ga. Statute is written. But you did right and if ticketed may want to try fighting it.
what happens if you are involved in a car accident and the passenger of your vehicle fleas the scene and asks you to lie for them and say they were never there and tell the police you were the only person in the car?
answered on Nov 11, 2017
It won't alter the police report but could cause issues down the road. Suggest you speak with a criminal defense attorney in person.

Just got a verdict against me in a rear end car accident , where my car was totaled. The opposing attorney entered closing statements that should not have been said, but was and this dissuade the jury against me. Is there any way I can get an appeal against this verdict?
answered on Oct 9, 2017
You had an attorney I assume. Not clear if you were plaintiff or defendant. Most states have an appeal as of right. You have a certain number of days to appeal and may have to file a request for new trial first.
The cop that wrote the accident report for when I was hit from behind in a rear end collision stated she didn't know which party was at fault because of conflicting statements. The other driver clearly ran into my car from behind as I was sitting still in the turn lane about to turn left.... View More

If you were hurt, contact a member of the Ga.Trial Lawyers Assn--they give free consults. Cops don't determine who was at fault. They give tickets. However this one seems to have taken that to an extreme. If you have collision let your company handle it ,they'll go after the other company... View More

Who owned the vehicle? The owner can get their license suspended. The youth may be looking at a suspension unless he can show he had no way of knowing--in which case it may be worth him having an attorney or at least getting a consult from one.

No punitives. Cost of repair. Send it to the guy if he was a contractor and whoever employed him. If a city or borough employee send it to them and comply with the "municipal claims" act. Then if they deny, go to small claims.
Optionally, have the car insurance cover and let them... View More

Well, it seems that the cop was trying to do his/her best to HELP the boyfriend, and possibly help you.

If that other car went around the parked car, and across the centerline, he or she was on wrong side of road.
