They should, but they usually only grease the squeaky wheel. Complain. See if that helps.

Any personal injury lawyer can tell you that medical bills are negotiable, with hospitals.

As a last resort, offer to pay $25 per month, and they likely will have to take it, if the money is not there.

Q: Do used car dealers have to disclose an accident?

Purchased vehicle from used car dealer in Dec '16 with clean AutoCheck. Just found it had been in accident with $15k damage.

If the vehicle is sold as NEW, yes. But, a general principle of commerce is "buyer beware."

Several tracking services like CarFax now let a buyer know this information, or any good car dealer or top-rated body shop could see this, in an inspection.

I would appear, to make sure that person pleads guilty. A guilty plea in the Atlanta Municipal Court, which is where 90% of all such cases are processed, in Fulton County, will be recorded on VIDEO, since that is how these courts record what transpires in Court.

Q: Anyone familiar with 40-6-126? Does this apply to a car that has intentions of turning left & more than 300ft away?

Accident occurred in turning lane. 1st party was idling, waiting to clear the turn lane. 2nd car was driving in the turn lane, more than 300 ft from her turn, crossing over 1 lane of traffic. Distance was verified at 345 feet. I was cited for the ticket. GA code 40-6-126

I was at green light. Not arrow. But other car ran through red light from right. I got citation and got court date. Will I be penalized?

If the vehicle that impacted with your vehicle came from the RIGHT side, and had a RED light, you should not have been ticketed. You need to fight the case. Depending on the court you are in, you may need to be prepared for trial, when you go.

Reading this message, it appears that English is your second language. You may not be a citizen of the USA. You need an attorney, and if you cannot afford one, have the court appoint one for you. Most GA courts require a payment of $50 to do this.

Q: I was involved in a vehicle accident and do not agree with the at fault decision.

I was making a left hand turn and the car coming toward me had their left signal on as well but when i turned they kept coming and hit my rear panel. The guy said he realized that wasn't the road he needed to turn at and that's why he did not turn but the cop said i was still at fault.

Did not see a question, but the vehicle is still in your name, and your obligation. But, cannot drive a vehicle in GA without basic liability insurance. Plus, you financing contract required you to keep full coverage.

You have civil and criminal problems. Can you afford a lawyer.

You need to fight your ticket, to get it dismissed. Then, a CIVIL court can decide the civil liability.

Sounds like the judge or prosecutor or both have to "recuse" themselves, from your case. This happens in all courts, including the U S Supreme Court.

Q: I was rear-ended. I have a claim w the 3rd party ins. However they aren't making me whole. Can i sue the ins?

I have a small claims suit initiated. As the defendants I have the driver and her insurance. I have served the insurance company. I have not served the driver due to not be able to locate her current address.

As you may have an injury case get a consult from a member of the Ga. Trial lawyers Assn--they give free consults.You have to sue the person. It would make more sense to sue the insurance company but that's what the law is.
