I was put on hold for old juvenile cases which I'm confused about, because I don't think I was charged as in adult because all the arrest type says juvenile arrest. I was 16 at the time back in 2006 in California. Do any good lawyer know what should do?

First, you need to pull your criminal background so that you know what is out there. Start in Georgia, if you are here, then go to California and pull that one. If there is anything on it, you need to speak with an attorney in the state showing something in your background about whether... View More

There are too many specifics in your case that aren't provided here in your question, and I"m sure more nuances will arise. I'd head down to talk to your local Area Defense Counsel or Defense Service Office for a free consultation. They'll be able to help walk you through this.

You can't just claim a child like a found penny. You've got a lot going on here. You need to simply sit down with an attorney and consult with them about how you should handle both of these situations.

2 points. With no driving history, this should not suspend your license.
Counties are Emanuel County to Richmond County. Detainee was not charged in Emanuel county but was picked up through a traffic violation for a warrant by Georgia State Patrol.

Every jail has their own policy on how long they will hold someone while awaiting another jurisdiction to come pick them up. The most common amount of time that I see is 10 days. Call the jail and ask.
i live in cordele, georgia and its a permanency hearing for my children that i didnt get notified of until this past Saturday night at 830pm via text message of a screenshot of a document that im assuming was sent to the case worker that sent it to me.

You need to speak with an attorney ASAP. If this is a permanency hearing, you should've already been afforded the opportunity to get a court appointed attorney. If you have not, ask for one tomorrow. They will have to determine if you qualify for a court appointed attorney, so they may have... View More

Each county has its own rules, for time lapse between jury duty. Call the Court's Jury Clerk, and have this checked, against their records. The number will be on the notice. This is the only way to know, other than showing up when directed.

Secondly, if your ex is represented by counsel, you should seriously consider hiring an attorney as well.... View More

Not a requirement in GA. South Carolina passed a law over 15 years ago, and did this in all police vehicles. Georgia police INTENTIONALLY have not installed cameras in some jurisdictions, because they do not want the defendant to have this evidence.
