The way this works is you need to ask a question. If you are looking for an attorney to represent you, we all give free consults but do NOT expect a discount because you filed. You may or may not have properly drafted the Complaint and you may or may not have named the correct Defendant. If you... View More

It is necessary to know the nature of the faulty stair railing as well as the nature of the injury sustained and whether there are any deficits from the injury. It would be a premises case so you need to establish that the hospital knew or should have known of the defective banister. It is... View More

If you contracted Covid-19 as a front-line worker, you enjoy a rebuttable presumption that it was work-related. Once that is proven, it is the same as any other Workers' Compensation claim. In Illinois, an injured worker is not compensated for the first three days that they must be off work... View More

Well you are a juvenile, so they can put you on supervised probation and probably make you pay for the phone. Or, if you’re lucky they may just put you on a consent decree and not adjudicate you delinquent. Good luck!

Q: I was shopping and upon exiting the store the door greeter grab my child by the arm while he was in a cart. Can I sue?

My child was in a cart and she did not have permission to touch my child. As many people as she sees all day and touching all the carts everyone touches I feel she put my child at risk for infection of covid-19 aren't there social distancing laws in place?!

Maybe, but what would your damages be? Also, what affirmative defense might the greeter have? You are only providing half of the facts. Did your child grab an item that wasn't paid for? Was your child in danger and about to fall? It's not clear why the greeter touched your child.

If you are experiencing pain then you need to seek medical attention right away. An injured person should not allow the Co-vid 19 pandemic to result in untreated pain, or even worse, allowing a severe injury to become permanent or cause death out of fear of going to the doctor.
