Q: I was in an accident with a nj state trooper and it was her fault. Can I sue them to pay my medical expenses. app. $2300

My auto insurance paid everything but the deductible. Since it wasn't my fault, AND my pickup was totaled, I don't know why I should be out of 2300.00 dollars.

IF you were injured you should not just sue for your medical expenses, but also for your pain and suffering but in general when suing a state agency you must file a notice of tort claim within 90 days, thus see a lawyer immediately for what you would need to do.
