Q: Can I sue a hospital for gross negligence? My wife got an HAI from a local hospital, that went undetected and untreated.

She was transferred directly from that hospital, by ambulance, to Duke Medical Center where they discovered the infection almost immediately. Q: What can I do if a mechanic tampers with the dash cams in my vehicle?

A mechanic tampered with my dash cams when I took my vehicle to be serviced. I have him on video and he said he never touch the cma.

Did he damage them? If not just don't go there again.

Q: I am a guest at a hotel and was attacked at the free continental breakfast by an employee of the hotel. What can I do?

Q: When a case is in settlement discussions what does that mean?

A friend of mine has a case against a manufacturer because she was hurt and she asked how her case was going and the secretary responded with the case is in settlement discussions but she is not sure what that means. I hate to tell her something and it be totally different.

Depends on the situation. Means ususally that there are calls back and forth, and the pace is dictated by the parties willingness to cut to the chase.
