You may apply if you have met in person 2 years prior to you filing, your fiance is otherwise admissible to the U.S. (i.e. no criminal history, no health issues, etc) and provided that he is not subject to a permanent bar of re-entry. It is best to consult with an experienced immigration attorney... View More

As long as you/the child are over 21 years of age the process to sponsor your father is basically the same except that if your mom files, it will involve a bit more paperwork because she will have to prove that her marriage to your father is "real" (not entered into to gain an immigration... Q: We bought a house through a verbal agreement with the owner and are wondering if there is a contract to take to them ?

We have already payed the full amount for the house but we have no contract saying it is our property. The seller claims that their lawyer will take until march for any documents to be signed because the buyer has no social security number but does have an ITN number.

Real estate is required to be purchased through a written document (no oral contract). If a lawyer is involved in this transaction they should know that. Also, if you paid the full amount for the house then all that should be needed for you to have proof that you own the property is the quit claim... View More

Can you please explain? Seems like you can have multiple short trips outside, and supposed to be physically present at least half year per year. Is it per calendar year? If I travelled this year for 4 months already can I leave and January 1 the count will renew for the next year?
