Q: Have been divorced for 2 yrs. Decree says Divorce with no children. Ex now says a child is mine and wants child support.

Will a judge order me to pay? Ex was the petitioner in the divorce. We have both since remarried.

Yes the mother of the child can get an order for blood testing of the child and the alleged father.

Do you mean Final Protective Order? If so, he should have been served with that hearing date before it occurred and therefore no additional work on your part is necessary. Each father can be ordered to pay child support regardless of another father’s obligation. One is not dependent on the other. Hope this helps.

What a caring and selfless thing to do. However, they probably lack standing to bring any cases related to the termination since the rights were terminated. The order may have addressed the child support obligation. My suggestion is to read it to ascertain. Good luck.
