Q: In Alabama If someone doesn’t pay after having a debt judgement against them can they be jailed for contempt of court

Ex husband of person who received letter passed away about 4 years ago. Judge in divorce case said he was to pay the debt. She got a letter saying she had ten days to pay or at end of ten days she has to surrender to law enforcement

If it's a failure to pay court ordered child, then it's not the same as an ordinary money judgment. Contempt is possible based on noncompliance with a court order.

Are you a member of a union? Do you have an employment contract? If not, the protections are likely going to be limited to discrimination based on age, race, sex, religion or national origin.

I was arrested earlier for false information to officer but dhr and that officer told me to file the report and I have proof from dr it’s true but didn’t show it at the time how can I be arrested if I haven’t even had a court date on it

Have you disputed the chargeback and submitted proof of the legitimacy of the agreement to pay? That would be your first step.

Normally, you are simply going to terminate the lawyer. This ends the relationship. It might, however, be wise to seek the lawyer's advice regarding an attorney for the appeal. It may be difficult to find another attorney within the time limits for appeal if you have terminated one attorney.
