Q: A man I was dating bust my lip and attackd me while at his house I have pics and text of him admitting what will happen?

I filled a Police report 3 days later but I have the text and pictures of him admitting he busted my lip what is the likelihood of him doing jail time or getting arrested?

a lawyer would need more info before they answer a question like that.........however this is not a personal injury case.

Personal injury requires negligence and this was an intentional act.

Q: I am 18 years old if I decide to move out or go somewhere can my parents stop or if they keep me from going somewhere

Like physically blocking the door or try grabbed me can they get in trouble or are they breaking any laws if they do that

If you're an adult, you can go where you want. Your parents cannot legally stop you. They can cut you off from any form of support, though.

call your local police to be there to protect you when he is moving out.........just to be safe

men often use the custody issue asking for 100% custody to get out of support payments.....

was was the DV? how serious? injuries?

cops being called does not mean an arrest and an arrest does not mean a conviction.

Possibly

you would be in violation of a RO and a judge could throw you in jail but a good lawyer can probably get you out of it.

remember every court and every courtroom are different let alone each county.

My ex-roommate beat me with a metal broom stick a few months ago. I didn’t report it then, because I would have been kicked out and left on the streets, is it still eligible to be reported now? I have since moved out.

You can report it, but I wouldn't expect a lot of investigation unless you have photos and medical records to prove it, along with a good reason that it wasn't reported earlier.

Q: Will the DA charge Domestic Violence based on pictures and a Witness who only saw the injury after?

Can the DA charge you with Domestic Violence if a person provided a story and pictures of an injury? Also, if the person had told the story after the alleged incident and the person saw the injury? All of this in a police report.

14 and 13 is very young to be making a decision on your own.

courts look at those ages as being unable to make decisions for yourself.

your dad should probably file papers for custody....but does he want it?

The domestic violence conviction does not help your case, but it's still possible to obtain joint legal custody and physical custody.
