If the ex has no custody rights, then the police should assist you. But if they won't, then you can't force them to help you. So if the police won't get involved, then you must do as the police suggest and file in court. Use the Find a Lawyer tab to retain a local family law... View More

Ohio does not permit it. They are her parents, and they make the decisions if CPS won't get involved. See this link for more information:

You might have to call the police, and he might have to spend some time in juvenile detention. No easy answer. What about his father? Is he involved? Talk to a school counselor for some suggestions. Best wishes.

She is your mother and has responsibility for you. Having a baby at 16 does not demonstrate making responsible decisions. You are still a minor, even if you have a baby, and you must follow her rules unless there is some situation to report to children's services. Here is more information:... View More

No, you can't contact her. That would violate the order. If you do that, you could put her in trouble. Do you want to do that to her? Move on, and have no contact with her.
answered on Jan 29, 2018
Your parents are legally obligated to support you until you are 18. If they will permit it, you could move, but a minor is not able to enter into any legally enforceable contracts, like a lease. Would you have health insurance, car insurance? Have you worked out a budget of all your expenses?... View More

The court will decide whether he gets cautioned, ordered to perform community service, put on probation, or the court could send him to juvenile detention.

Do you intend to sue them? They can put limits on you since you are a minor and they are responsible for you. Their house, their rules, until you are 18.

It would depend on the circumstances, like if he is put on probation.

If there are charges against you, the juvenile court will determine the proper punishment, which could include probation, community service, counseling, etc.

He's never harmed or committed a crime against me or my family, they just don't want us together and are threatening to do this so he can't contact me. Can I contact him or get the order dropped when I turn 18? Or can I fight this before they file the order?

Yes they can do that, and it seems like they have good reason for it. They probably are thinking of your future - which could be less than they had hoped, if he is already in jail.
