I have a friend who is taking in unwanted animals and adopting them out. Just wanted to know if it’s legal.

Yes. It is illegal. You must be licensed and meet the appropriate qualifications to operate a shelter or rescue.
The vet bill is $355 and will be more charges in the coming 8 weeks, a neighbor said he saw who did it and pointed them out to me. It is clear they were definitely speeding well over the limit based on the injuries. What can I do?

You need to have them autopsied do the vet can testify about the causation of the deaths. If he links their death to the product, then you could have a claim.
and KHS but no lost report was posted for dog. Nextdoor and Facebook posts got no response either. I have had the dog in my possession for several days and posted her as found on the LMAS website. It’s been more than enough time if someone was going to claim her. Take the listings down, take her to your vet and have her spayed, chipped and vetted. She is now your dog.
I have tried several times to get my two large outside dogs to sleep in dog houses, but they prefer sleeping under the house and back porch. We have put up walls and filled their beds with cedar for the winter, as well. My neighbor called animal control on my dogs for barking and the woman from... View More

Much cheaper fight to buy two doghouses and let them sit than trying to fight with animal services over seizure and return.

Take your dog to the vet and if she is pregnant, terminate the pregnancy. As soon as she’s out of heat, have her spayed. Depending on the leash laws where you are, you may be qble to require the owners to pay your vet bills.
answered on Nov 18, 2019
If they are being fed, watered, have heat/AC and are checked on 3x a day, they are neither explored nor abused.
The dogs are in my name at the vet.
He leaves her with me and will call occasionally if the kids want to play with the dog. This has gotten confusing to her. Recently I was called one hour after she got over there to come get the dog because they wanted to play with their friends and didn’t want to deal with potty breaks. and the... View More

You may or you may not have any rights. You providing care for her seems to indicate ownership. On the other hand, you believe that the dog belongs to your friend and you will bring the dog over to their house at their request. Payment of those bills could indicate you own the dog, but could also... View More
Her son posted it on social media. It was lost close to her house. She says she posted it as missing on 1 site for 5 days and her kids are attached so she doesn't have to return it. Can I get it back reasonably easily?
answered on Nov 11, 2019
Yes. If you have proof of ownership, simply call the police.
Pursuant KRS 387.125. Is there anyway to borrow from it and pay back?

Probably not, because your dog is required to be on a leash.

File a police report and take your dog to the vet. The neighbors will be liable for any injuries to your dog.

If he’s registered in your name, he’s your dog. Go get him.
