There might possibly be but if they’re located in Singapore, be expensive and difficult to litigate. Additionally, it sounds like there are no damages so I probably wouldn’t pursue it.

Q: Can I be given 2 different fines for the same charge?

I was told if I got my permit they would be dismissed but I payed the fine and they set me another court date for not having a permit and they fined me another 325 bucks can they do that

Unfortunately, check cashing is a privilege, not a right. Hence, it does not rise to the k look Evelyn of discrimination.

Unfortunately, the store doesn’t have to cash your check at all. Cashing checks is a privilege only, not a right. Hence, their refusal to cash the check could be for any reason. Unless you can prove that the reason was in fact to discriminate, there is really no cause of action.

Go to your county attorney and swear out a criminal complaint for him. That will get you into court to address his behavior.

It is not illegal although it may be ineffective assistance of counsel. Ask your attorney to meet, get all the details and then make a motion to have another preliminary/probable cause hearing before the grand jury indicts.

If the home is not in her name, it can possibly be transferred since there is no equity in it. If the hone is in her name, if you can show Medicaid there is no equity, they might possibly start paying. If not, the house will likely have to be sold and the renters will have to buy it at sale.
