Q: I need to show proof of emancipation for a lease. How do I do that?

I need to show proof of emancipation. I didn’t go through a court because I Moved out on self support. Do I need a piece of paper signed by my parent or how would I show it?

Q: how can an individual sell a home to a relative for 1$ and how much will this affect Medicaid?

the seller is currently in an assisted living facility the goal is to save the home which the adult childeren live.

It can see for $1 because the $1 qualifies as valuable consideration. Much more info is needed to determine what effect, if any, it will have on Medicaid.

Q: I've been a guest at budgtel Inn for 4 months.they are kicking me out without giving me a reasonable amount time.

I was a housekeeper but I was being sexually harassed by someone and when brought to the owners attention I was wrongfully fired and now I'm being kicked out can they just do that

You have two separate issues: 1) a possible sexual harassment case and 2) an eviction. Unless you have a lease on the space, they can ask you to leave anytime with reasonable notice.

Q: In a land contract does the buyer get a loan?

My mother put a CD down so I could get a loan in my name. Four years later she said I had to get a loan without the CD or move.

File a forcible detainer (eviction) against her snd get her out. It is a breach of the contract as you said.

Q: I have a "tenancy by the entirety" co-ownership with someone I was never married too. Will this error help or hurt me.

For the past 3 years she has lived in the house and refuses to sell the house. She will not allow me to use the property. Can I partition to sell. Will the co ownership error help or hurt me if I take her to court? I also am a co-signer on the loan.

Should help you. File suit to sell and divide. Likely cannot be partitioned but it can be sold.

Yes. He can hold the car. He has a mechanics lien by statute. You should go see him face to face snd see if you can work it out between yourselves. If not, you’ll need to hire a lawyer to file suit for you.

Don’t pay anything else. Lithe insurance money is yours and passes outside the estate. If she had nothing, there is nothing to pay them with and you are in no way liable for any of her debts.

Q: My partners landlord added my name to his lease without my permission or app. And added me to an eviction.

She lied in court saying that we added my name to the lease. When we obtained the copy with my name on there from the leasing office. We were advised by county clerk and prosecutor to pursue legal action. Do I have a case? I don't know who to talk to.

Q: Car towed, only received one letter by certified mail past statute conformities.

Tow lot is saying they have sent two letters by certified mail, I’ve only received the latter of the two. Never received any notice of certified mail from post office for first letter as laid out by postal service guidelines. Tow lot is stating they’ve sent two letters. What can I do?

That would be one solution, assuming that bankruptcy makes sense otherwise. If he has low income, owns little or nothing, and has other significant deaths, this could be a reasonable option.

Q: Do I have to give left over property to previous owner.

I have owned the property for almost a year now and the previous owner still hasn't retrieved anything off the ground but wants to try now after this long and I don't want him to have it now without compensation of some kind maybe even storage fees?
