I had a few different Bard Powerports Implanted as a minor, in 2011, 2014, 2015. I also believe I had one earlier than 2011. Each had to be surgically removed in emergency surgeries due to multiple blood clots, sepsis multiple times, numerous other infections, and damage to my skin tissue where the... View More

A Michigan attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. I'm sorry for your ordeal. The best way to get an answer would be to reach out to attorneys to discuss. Try to arrange a free, initial/no-obligation consult. Nationwide, many jurisdictions allow for tolling... View More

You'd have to expand, greatly, on how failing to operate an electronic ankle monitor somehow caused or contributed to your child being shot.
Very generally, civil liability (e.g. what you would be suing for) ends upon someone else's criminal activity. This is why you don't... View More
I am a videographer and run my own videography company. If I promote a safety product (film ads and take photos) for another company's product to be released on their social media, and that safety product ends up not being what is stated unbeknownst to me and it ends up failing and hurting... A Michigan attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. In a setting like this, there are no guarantees as to who a potential plaintiff would name in a lawsuit. If someone is merely inserting a script that the client provided without knowledge, that would probably be... View More

This could be something that career counselors would know better than attorneys would. You could look into the forums or help resources of job sites. Also, recruiters who work in the health care field might be able to offer guidance. Good luck

No minor in no way orders or consumes the beverage, but picks up the tab. IE a minor takes their parents out for dinner.

Money is money. There would be no problem with the minor paying for the bill.

Unlikely. Is this a private seller? This is a classic caveat emptor situation: until the point where money and title changed hands, you had the ability to investigate, and either negotiate for a lower price or walk away. Unless the seller warranted, guaranteed, or promised you something, I think... View More
I work at the rotisserie chicken section of a large supply chain grocery store. There is a restaurant that orders a large amount from us once or twice a week. As soon as the chicken comes out of the oven, it goes directly into the fridge until they eventually pick it up. They then reheat it and... View More

It doesn't sound concerning by itself. I suppose tweaking the facts could render it problematic, but it sounds at least from this side of your post, that you are asking out of annoyance.
Repair service came out and agreed there was a problem. Supposedly they order a part. Nothing has been done as of January 17, 2022. Can we demand a refund?
answered on Jan 17, 2022
Likely depends on the purchase agreement, company policy, as well as the status of the part that was ordered. Demanding a refund and getting a refund are two different things, and being custom furniture, your question requires a much deeper than typical contract analysis to get a closer answer.... View More

Not much you can do except either 1) get the furniture back yourself and return it to the store, or 2) pay the bill. It's your name on the dotted line; your problem now.
When you signed for it, the store is holding you responsible for it. They don't care about who the furniture is... View More
