I'm assuming he's at fault. If he had insurance run it through the insurance. If he didn't he should consult an attorney--if he pays the insurance company for the other driver then he should get a release and needs a professional to instruct himon that, if he needs to, how he plans... View More

As careless driving in most states is a point violation, I suggest you consult a lawyer who handles citations before that court, to see what your options are (for instance pleading guilty to the no permit and some non-point violation, even if it didn't happen [for instance no valid inspection).

Personal injury cases do take some time. I tell my clients that we like to get cases resolved, if possible, within 12 months. Some settle sooner than that and some take a long time. For example, if the insurance company does not offer a reasonable settlement, we file a lawsuit for our client and... View More

Michael you need to look at your bill of lading. It will say where claims must be handled. Look for an attorney who handles such claims. You will need proof of what the damages cost. It is not clear whether the "swerving" car which arguably caused the accident has been identified. If so, the driver of that car may well be liable for the damage to all three cars. Otherwise, it appears that the car that hit yours is liable. Have you notified the insurance companies?

What do you mean by "a totaled title"? He will get title to the vehicle. Whether the insurance company considers it "totaled" makes no difference as far as title is concerned.

It is not very clear, but as I understand it, the title to the Pacifica is in your name. Unless it shows your daughter as having a lien, she cannot repossess it as she is threatening to do. If she tries do so, call the police.

She can, of course, sue you (most likely in small claims...
