Q: Can my insurance company have false payments for my medical coverage on an accident claim and me still owe for the real?

I fired my attorney because he was wasting my time and once he was fired the other party insurance finally paid damages to State Farm. I recovered my deductible but was out of pocket almost 1000 for car rental. I missed a numerous amount of work, I have whiplash and will never be the same
