There is nothing for you to do at this time. The department will take care of it. If anything arises in the future, speak to counsel.

You need to talk to an attorney. You need to bring your custody papers with you when you do. You also need to take a copy of this safety plan, as you may have messed up and agreed to the safety plan unwittingly.

If you had an AGREEMENT, you could take the property owner to small claims court, to enforce the agreement. The type of claim, if any, that you had, is called quantum meruit, and has to be taken in a court of equity. For most courts in America, that filing fee would greatly exceed you bill.... View More

Q: My former neighbors tore up my fence before they moved. New neighbors were told I tore up the fence. Do I have a case?

You can tell it was broken from their side due to the spreading of dirt from an in ground pool being installed. Their yard is at least 6 inches taller than mine.

What is your economic harm, in this case? Did their claims cost you your job? Or, is it just the fence repair?

Sounds like fence repair, to me. Sue them in small claims court, for the fence costs. The judgement will prove who was telling the truth.

If what is being stated is not truthful, possibly. Simply reporting that the woman talked about you FACING charges is not libelous. Certain mean-spirited people THRIVE off trying to diminish others.

Before being seated on a jury, potential jurors take a couple of sworn oaths. However, none...

Tell him, in email and text to not contact you further. Then, block his number on your phone.

Then, record any and all communications after that, for police to see later.

Monitor any social media. If he makes false claims about STD, you can sue him.

Follow up with police on...

It sounds like a crime, and possibly is a crime. Various statutes control such harassing behavior, even if it is being done to another party. If you have a criminal defense lawyer, ask him or her about whether the attorney will assist you in presenting this set of facts to the District Attorney for... View More

It sounds like you have a pre-warrant issuance hearing. Hire a lawyer before the hearing date. If a warrant is issued, you may be sent to jail.

Possibly so, but the circumstances of the event will determine that. For example, if the person claimed being an attorney to convince you to send him/her money to settle a lawsuit or claim, that would likely be something a Prosecutor would want to pursue. Having a recording of the exact statements... View More
