What are my limitations as an 18-year-old with a job that only pays 50 per day?
Would moving out be... View More

You are not considered an adult until you either reach 18 years of age or are emancipated (declared to have the rights of an adult) through a court proceeding. The main requirements of emancipation are that your parents must agree to it and you must be immediately able to support yourself living... View More

Legally, you are required to live wherever your parents say. No court order means nothing enforceable typically. Your parents can choose to give guardianship or to take it away. Anyone who harbors you can be charged with harboring a runaway.

I traveled to the last court date from Oklahoma and was told that I could take my son home with me. They closed the case, and at the bottom of the court order, it is written, “All custodial rights of the minor are vested to (my name).” Does this mean that I now have full or sole custody of my... It sounds like you have sole custody of your son. You should see an attorney licensed to practice law in Oklahoma to figure out what your next step is in that state.

Your child support is determined by the last court order. It doesn't change just because a parent moves from one state to another.
He's threatening her by saying he's going to take the kids and have her declared mentally incompetent.

Until a court order is entered determining when each of the parents has time with the children, the rights of the parents are exactly the same. It is not kidnapping to take your own child, unless a court order determines the other parent should have the child at that time.
In other words,... View More
We have a parenting agreement that is 3 years old. My 14 year old never wanted to live with her dad. I felt railroaded and signed the papers. Is there any way to do this without contesting? The father (who is not her biological father but is on the birth certificate) will not agree for her to move... View More

If you want to change parenting rights and responsibilities, you have to contest if you disagree. That is the nature of family law.

You have absolutely NO right to see their ID's. She can bring anyone she wishes into the marital apartment, and so can you. Your position is dead wrong.

Not sure what you mean by "what i can do." You can always move out. If your parents wish to evict you, they will have to file it with the Court in the county where you live and deal with it in court in order to remove you. Not sure you or your parents want it to get to this level.

If I can sue for the back child support what information do I need to do so?
answered on Sep 30, 2020
No. That money was for your mother to help her financially. It was not and never will be your money. But if there is a back child support order, your mother can sue him for it.
This includes not paying court ordered child support. We've been together 8 years and married for 3. Do we need her consent?
answered on Sep 30, 2020
You don't necessarily need her consent based on the facts you set forth, but it will be easier if you have her consent. Either way, you are required to provide her formal notice that you're attempting the adoption.
