My children obtained their driver's licenses in 2016 and 2018, lived in my household, and drove my vehicles until they left for college. One child returned home in 2020 for six months before moving away, but never changed the address on her license. The other did not return home but used my... View More

I'm sorry about your child's accident. How to proceed? It could be worth considering a consult with an attorney to review the matter in detail. That's probably why the post remained open for a week. It isn't an easy question to answer directly in a meaningful manner on a Q &... View More

A landlord can ask for a change in renter's insurance coverage, especially during lease renewal, as long as the request is reasonable and outlined in the lease agreement. If your original lease specified $100,000 in coverage, the landlord can ask for an increase, but it must be a fair and... View More

If you had laibility insruance at the time of the accident, turn this demand over to them.

If you did not have liability insurance at the time, you should speak with a lawyer about your rights.

if you don't have collision on your own auto policy and someone hits the rental car and damages it, the dealer's insurance company will pay to repair the car.

Each LLC should have at least three members and it's own insurance policy. All LLCs should be owned by a "C" corp. Anything else is not going to protect you from personal liability. You really need to retain an experienced business and contracts attorney.

Best bet is to hire a PI to find the guy if it is important to you, then you can determine what your best options are. If you can't find the guy you can't really do much. He did not steal the laptop and may have tried to contact you and he may say you did not pay for the services... View More

I would fight this as he was not in the crosswalk, but will the officer admit to this when he goes to court will probably be your problem. But if you want the best chance to win get a good lawyer not a cheap lawyer as cheap lawyers are generally never good.

I do not think an easement will help. However, you can sue the insurance company to force them to make repairs. However, you would at all times be liable for your own attorney fees and costs. Whether or not a Court will Order the insurnace company to pay your legal fees is unknown. Good luck.
