First do you have underinsurance? Big problem in carpal tunnel is amount of likely pre-existing changes. (Don't respond on this site as it's public). If you can go for undeirnsurance without collecting 100% of driver's policy things are more flexible.

Q: Can an organized sports team legally make you sign an injury waiver releasing them of responsibilty INCLUDING...?

the phrase "even if (the injury is) caused by the negligence or gross negligence of" said team or its agents? It seems they should legally be responsible if they really mess up.

You're right but that's a standard phrase. Basically it means you should watch out for yourself because the team may not. There are many cases in other states where waivers have been held not to apply, but North Carolina may have a different approach and you wouldn't want to rely on a court holding.

You can send your medical bills to the manufacturer but don't hold your breath. File a complaint with the CPSC. However, high heat safe means that it won't melt, not that it won't get so hot that you don't need a kitchen mit to handle.

She was burned all over her face, chest, shoulders, arms/hands, legs/feet. Most were 2nd degree, some were 3rd. Of course, you do not have to go back to that dentist (unless you have to due to Medicaid) and could mention this on social media so they have some incentive not to do this again. Plus, even if they did, it does not sound like you... View More

Many times patients request refunds because they don't like how something looks or feels. This is very subjective. If the work was done to the standard of care how do you deal with this. Patients sometimes use state boards as a means to extort money from practitioners. How do you avoid this?
