W Bond Set at 100K. Is there a chance of release without posting bail when they go to their arraignment 10 business days later?

answered on Sep 5, 2024
Very doubtful.

There is no time limit. The Sheriff can hold a fugitive from justice a long time. Suspect's lawyer can hurry the process along by waiving extradition, which is almost always a mistake. Habeas Corpus can be filed also.
Arresting officer made 3 completely different statements about what he seen happen, the last one being 4 days later. Can that hold up in federal jury trial?

Incident Reports are inadmissible in TN Courts, but I do not know about USDC. Probably not. also. In any event, defense must cross examine and attempt to impeach the government witness like any other trial. It does not mean defendant is acquitted.
Heres the case in a nut shell. Breach of settlement contract. I finally have all evidence including,Contract and terms, proof of breach. In their own words known recordings and understood that they were being recorded, proof of negligence bordering criminal. Admitted criminal negligence during... View More

If you believe there has been a breach of a finalized settlement agreement, gathering all pertinent evidence, such as the original contract, proof of the breach, and any relevant communications or recordings, is crucial. Documentation that clearly demonstrates the breach, especially if it includes... View More

You are going to have to hire an attorney and an investigator in TN. Sorry but no other response is appropriate. Start here on Justia.
I need a lawyer who can file a motion for my son.

Congress passed the First Step Act in December 2018, which included provisions for sentencing reductions. The Act became effective upon its signing by the President on December 21, 2018.
If your son may qualify for a sentencing reduction under its provisions, it would be prudent to review... View More

There is no time limit. Was a Bond set? If too high, a motion to reduce bond could be made, and sometimes unusual requirements are issued in conjunction with a lower cash bond. Apparently an Arrest Warrant was already executed, so SOL is not running on charge.

answered on Jul 17, 2023
Probably not since the alleged tort was not complete. Not a good cause of action.
What should I do and say if I get pulled over? What If I’m the passenger?

You do not need to announce that you are armed unless asked. You do not need to show the weapon to the officer. Doing either of the foregoing could be considered a threat to LEO. I have even refused to show the LEO my weapon when requested with no problem since it is not the LEO's... View More

You will need to hire an attorney admitted to Federal Court in the District where the Case is at. Assuming it is TN, there are some pretty good criminal lawyers here on Justia. If KY or VA, use Justia to look under the States for criminal lawyers. That kind of charge will involve inmates... View More
I'm 18 and male. Four years ago when I was 14, my mother was going to visit her friend who lived in the countryside for a few days and she took me with her. While we were walking over to her friend's house, I slipped and fell in the mud. When we arrived at her friend's house, my... View More

Generally, you cannot successfully sue someone unless their actions or inactions caused you to suffer actual legally compensable injuries. Your question does not mention any such injuries, and it is difficult to imagine how the facts you describe would likely result in any such injury.

Fingerprints on firearms and ammunition is rarely reliable evidence. What is your question?

That may be either a conversion, breach of contract or bailment action, possibly others. You will need a TN attorney if the delivery of the parcel was in a TN County. Probably a Circuit Court action. Be prepared to give alot more details than what you have posted, which is nowhere near... View More

If you have evidence that your siblings have submitted a falsified Power of Attorney (POA) to gain access to your parents' assets, you may want to consult with an attorney who specializes in estate law to discuss your legal options.
One potential course of action may be to challenge... View More

Your question makes no sense. Redo your question. There is a procedure in General Sessions Court to appeal the denial of a Handgun Permit.

In case a person desert from the US military and moves to Canada or EU, will she be extradited back to the US? Does this kind of offence considered to be extraditable?

It depends what other legal issues are involved. I strongly suggest a confidential legal consultation with an experienced attorney.
