Jails are not required to have law libraries. But prisoners must have reasonable access to legal materials.

There is not an easy answer. Section 1983 does not have its own statute of limitations and instead incorporates the state statute of limitations for conduct which most closely parallels the complained of conduct.

Errors and discrepancies in case numbers are almost never fatal. Most such issues can be corrected. It is the substance that matters

Q: I have C.O.P.D. (a lung disease that i take 4 breathing treatments everyday for at least I'm suppose too). I am 6' 4"

330 lbs. and Police Officers treat me "excessively cautiously". I'm worried that with the C.O.P.D. and a severe heart condition etc. I'm worried I could possibly die from mace and/or a taser. Do I carry a couple Doctors notes... Pfff! I don't know what to do. Thanks Either Way

Q: I just recently had a ticket dismissed, in Texas. Also, I have video evidence of supervisor, reprimanding the officer.

Is there a way for me to sue, for pain and suffering bc I was cuffed and put in the back of a Tahoe, at time searched car without permission. Maranda rights were not read, the traffic stop was dismissed in a court of law.
