You need to talk to an attorney about filing for divorce. Eviction is not proper in this circumstance.
Also I have police reports where one guy "her ex" kicked the door in and broke TV and caused a really big scene in front of my 9 and 3 year old because she had another man in the bed with her. It's adultery. How long do I have to file a divorce to commit her for it? I just... View More

The marriage legitimated your child, so you don't have to file to legitimate him. Filing for divorce based upon adultery doesn't give you an advantage unless there is a possibility of alimony. Most people divorcing are sleeping with someone else, so judges don't care anymore. 99%... View More

You need TO FILE IN VA and talk to an attorney there about it. You can't file in GA until you have lived here for at least 6 months.

Talk to a local attorney. Attorney's are not familiar with forms because we draft our own pleadings. Talk to someone about representing you in an appeal, as this is a serious matter and can have far reaching consequences if you are placed on the registry.

A group home is for orphans, not some sort of punishment like jail. She's already probably too old to be adjudicated unruly. Her bigger problem is going to be getting a driver's license, a job, etc. Best of luck to her.
He was brought to the jail where my grandfather had to pick him up. He says he has 12 points on his license and he has a court date and was assigned a public defender. This is being tried as a juvenile delinquency. My question is what can we typically expect from court? Are we looking at a HUGE... View More
My cousin has falsely accused me of showing her pornography, getting naked for her, and speaking to her in vulgar, sexually explicit ways. Even though she is 10 and I am 13, everyone believes her and not me. She is manipulative and is doing this just for fun. Her mother and father are very upset at... View More
It was ordered "12 months of temporary guardianship or untill further order by this court while the parents comply with the courts order". So is it really over or do I need approval from the court to get my daughter back after a year?

Take your order to an attorney to review with you. The language and context of this is very important. My instinct would be to say that the plain language of the document says it is up, but it sounds like there is more to this.

I want to file a motion for discovery but I have filed a notice of appeal. Should all contact be cut off while undergoing the appeal or should I still file the motion for discovery?
answered on Oct 31, 2017
There is no such thing as a motion for discovery. You need to consult with a family law attorney. It is possible that you have a good case, but because you do not know the rules of the court, those facts may never come to light. if your case is still pending, an appeal will most likely be... Most would not go to this extreme. If you don't provide, the worse thing is that they do not let the State pay.

Your parents have the right to determine what is best for you. If they object to you seeing an adult while you are still a child, then you need to listen to them.

Yes. Contact an attorney, and do not talk to anyone except and attorney. No one else has a right of confidentiality. Post nothing further on public boards, like this.

First of all, start recording the encounters with him, with some type of device. This is good evidence when he denies the threats later. In GA, only one party to the recording needs to know a device was being used, by the way.
If he has no other place to live, then you need to advise him,... View More
